Welcome to Troop 9465!
We have 10 campouts a year including our Summer Camp along with many opportunities for Community Service, Conservation projects, and excursions.

Our Scouts laugh, learn, and grow together and always welcome new girls with open arms.
Our Purpose
The skills learned in the handbook prepare Scouts for a dangerous world by teaching them survival and lifesaving skills. First Aid and situational awareness are the bedrock of Scouting America’s program.
Working with peers gives the Scouts a boost in confidence and allows them to grow and test their wings in a safe and inclusive environment based on building each Scout to their fullest potential.
Community Service opportunities introduce Scouts to their ability to positively affect their local communities.

Scouts are NOT passive observers — Scouts roll their sleeves up and resolve issues: See problem, fix problem.

FUN WITH A PURPOSE
With 136 Merit Badges to choose from, there is a wealth of opportunities for Scouts to possibly gain a passion for a future career or multiple hobbies.
To date, we have awarded the rank of Eagle Scout to 12 of our intrepid, young ladies.
Rank advancements are earned based on skills learned at each Scout’s own pace. Knowledge is gained via Merit Badge work, the Scout Handbook, face to face lessons, and hands on work.
As Scouts progress through the ranks and gain knowledge and confidence, they work themselves into leadership roles and eventually work within a team of youth to lead the Troop. Success is measured by steady rank advancement, growth in each Scout, and enjoyment while adventuring.
ABOUT OUR TROOP
Our Troop was founded in Febuary 2019, and throughout the years, each of our girls have gained confidence and self-reliance.
We are Scout led, with support from dedicated adult volunteers.
OUR MEETINGS
We meet Monday nights from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at Ortega Methodist Church, which is located at 4807 Roosevelt Blvd, and we meet in the Education Building, on the 2nd floor.

Following our Scout-led approch: Parents should first always ask their Scout, Scouts should always first ask their SPL.
